This is the female version of our inguinal hernia garment. Two small brass clasps at the bottom of the garment allow easy access. If the wearer is particularly elderly these may not be suitable. Also suitable for an incisional hernia, visceral and renal ptosis and recovering from abdominal surgery. Contains two optional compressed foam pads which fit securely inside the brief putting direct comfortable pressure on the hernia.

For a perfect fit measure around the waist as you would prior to any hernia appearing. Because of the disparity in ladies sizes across retail shops, we do not quote UK clothing sizes. Please simply measure around the waist. If your hips are larger use that measurement.

If you are buying for a person other than yourself an accurate measurement is even more important.

Designed to assist with single or dual (bilateral) inguinal hernia. All hernia underwear is supplied with two anatomically shaped foam pads which fit into small pouches on the inside of the brief. They are recommended as they put direct local pressure on the hernia, but the fit is entirely up to the wearer.

Sizing is important as we do not offer returns for underwear: Measure around the waist with a tape measure, do not assume your normal trouser size or typical waist measurement is actually your waist size. If you consider yourself on a sizing borderline go down rather than up. This product is not available on NHS prescription.

The manufacturer recommendation is 'hand wash only at low temperature water', however we have heard many reports from customers who have used a a washing machine on a low temperature and spin setting without adversely affecting the garment..
Do not use bleaches or detergents.

Delivery and Returns

Products are typically shipped the same day that they are ordered up to 3 pm GMT daily Monday to Friday.
We use 'Royal Mail Tracked 24/48' which provides full visibility of the goods from door-to-door. For our international customers we encourage you to use 'International Tracked' which again provide some degree of location of the package throughout its journey to you.

In the unlikely event of a package not arriving Royal Mail will not consider it 'lost' until 15+ working days have elapsed, at which point we can investigate. If it is returned to us as 'undelivered' we will contact you.

Your privacy : All goods are shipped in plain, opaque envelopes and no markings on the envelope identify the package sender or contents.

Returns

We accept returns for manufacturers defect (which is highly unlikely from an ISO 9001 factory) or picking errors on our part.
Items returned for refund must be shipped within 9 working days of receipt.

For hygiene reasons underwear is NOT eligible for return and is considered final sale.
